Brian has worked in the financial sector for 17 years. He began his career with investing in 2006 working for TD Ameritrade where he earned his Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 licenses. Brian built his career initially through working with high net-worth, self-directed investors encompassing complex stock and options trading. He then worked as an investment consultant with top advisor firms in the country before transitioning his tenure to Merrill Lynch in 2016.

As a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, Brian provided portfolio management for individuals and small businesses with experience ranging in trust and estate planning, as well as building custom legacy and retirement strategies. This year, Brian launched Hourglass Wealth LLC from his conviction to provide his clients with a greater financial blueprint that serves individuals and their values for generations to come.

Brian grew up in Montana, and met his wife of 18 years while attending college in Florida. They couldn’t decide between mountains or beaches, so settled in-between and relocated to Texas in 2006. They have three incredible teenagers. Brian serves as President of the Board for Taste Project, a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Fort Worth, TX that provides a community-driven response to fight to end hunger. Brian devotes his spare time to his family, and loves traveling.
